The flag of SDC College is always high up the most because of the accolades accumulated by the department of sports.

 The college teams of various sports had crossed geographical boundaries such as Football and Basketball teams at National, State and District level competitions and lifted the trophies. SDC college till date has consistently preserved the champions tagline at Bangalore North University in many sports events  for over a period of almost two decades.

Encouragement, motivation, and support are extended through the Sports Quota to deserving students while enriching their academic endeavors too at the same time. Numerous amateurs transformed themselves into professionals under the guidance of the college coaches.
